Operational impact

Card payment at the table. No cashier queue.

Card payment is typically the slowest step at the cashier. With TableManager the customer scans a QR at their table, pays in seconds from their phone, and leaves. Your cashier is freed up for the service work that actually matters.

What does "pay at the table" mean?

Every table in your restaurant gets a QR code (on the menu, on the table stand, or on the bill). The customer scans it with their phone and immediately sees their own order — not the table next door's, just theirs.

They tap "Pay by card" and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or their card straight from the phone. The transaction goes through your own payment gateway (Everypay, SumUp, Viva, Cardlink, NBG Pay, Piraeus, Eurobank) — with no commission from us.

Once the payment is approved, your cashier is updated automatically: the bill closes, the table is marked "paid" on the host's tablet, and the customer can leave without going through the till.

Why it matters

Three benefits you feel from the very first service.

Save cashier time

Every cashier-side card payment typically takes 3–5 minutes. When that moves to the customer's phone, the cashier handles only the exceptions.

More turns at peak hours

Peak hours don't have time for queues. Less waiting time = faster turn = more covers in the same space.

No amount mismatch

The amount is pulled automatically from the order in the system. No typing, no wrong entries, no end-of-night discrepancies.

How it works

From the table to "paid" in less than a minute.

The flow is the same every time. The customer doesn't need to download an app, create an account or call a waiter.

  1. Scans the QR

Each QR is unique per table. Opening the camera launches their order page on your own domain.

  2. Sees their own bill

Not just the table — the amount for their own order. They can split the bill with friends if they want.

  3. Pays in seconds

Apple Pay, Google Pay, card — whatever your gateway supports. The transaction completes through your own gateway.

  4. Leaves — auto-updated

The table is marked paid in the system. The service sees "paid", the customer leaves without waiting.

Business impact

Real time. Real numbers.

Example for an 80-seat restaurant averaging 50 tables per service with 60% card payments.

Tables per service
50
Card payments (60%)
30
Cashier time saved
30 × 4' = 120'
Extra service time per night
≈ 2 hours
Extra turns at peak hours
+15–20%

Numbers are indicative. Real impact depends on your payment mix and pace.
